This, my friends, is the part of writing that is simultaneously the most tedious, as well as being the most important. This is the result of revision number two of the new Jimmy Eyebrow – Budget Hitman book due for release in early October.
Revision number one was done on-screen and focussed on tidying up the flow, as well as capturing any howlers that had snuck in. After three weeks, I have now finished revision two today and that’s the revision where the entire book is printed and read in physical form.
Each of the tabs in this photo represents a page where there is at least one, often multiple, changes that are required. This includes: typos, grammatical errors, punctuation issues, orphaned elements from revision one, re-arranging elements for better flow, removal of redundant content and inclusion of additional content to add to the overall story.
THIS is where I fine-tune everything to give you, my loyal readers, the best possible story that I can produce. If I knuckle down, this process should be complete within a week, after which, the excitement builds when the book will be provisionally published and a proof copy produced to check how it will look in its final form.
Stay tuned, we’re almost there everyone! Thankyou as always for your support of Jimmy Eyebrow, I truly do appreciate it.
