After ten months, the final sticker on my wall of chapters has turned yellow. What does that mean? It means that writing for book number three of the Jimmy Eyebrow – Budget Hitman series has concluded!!!
That’s right – after more than three-quarters of a million keystrokes over ten months, the final words have just been written after one final 13 hour push.
I’ve been staring at the wall of chapters for weeks now, willing it to change colour on its own. Of course it cannot, but as the pink disappeared and was slowly replaced by yellow, the end was in sight. Even in the closing stages though, my estimate of chapters was a little off and Jimmy Eyebrow threw one additional curveball in to increase the chapter count by one more.
